Taken while wandering the neighbourhood with Kiva late last night. Not sure what I like about the wide-ish angle, low to the ground shots of cars. Perhaps reminds me of my courier days, though seeing a car from this pov while riding your bike would seem to indicate things had gone terribly wrong. I remember crashing at high speed one night, sliding down the road on my back (plastic buckles on my bag melting from the friction) and seeing my beautiful chrome bike cartwheeling overhead, a thousand streetlight reflections sparkling in the dark. Beautiful. Except for the cracked kneecap.

Two things to note. First, streetlights still pretty orangey here, but not as bad as Glasgow. Second, California is home to many massive land yachts from the 1970's. I have seen at least 3 station wagons with wood paneling.

So (obviously), Kate is pregnant. We're trying to come up with names we both like in the short remaining time available to us - suggestions welcome! We don't know if it's a boy or a girl, but I favour Thor for either. Good strong name for a boy. Unique name for a girl. Perfect...
